What does summertime mean to you?

Summertime & The Living is Easy - The sun rises early and shines for long hours. The sunsets are magical with every color ecstatic in harmony, my heart melts into the twilight as the sun fades away. The nights are filled with warmth and a cool breeze. The crickets sing while the moon smiles upon me with hues of red and gold.

We are blessed with the seasons of life - They teach us to grow, flow with change, and enjoy every moment we have to live for.

Summer means Campfires, Sleeping Outside, and Star Gazing! Hiking, Exploring, and Swimming! Yoga, Singing, and Climbing Trees! Rekindling Friendships - Taking Up New Activities and Hobbies. (Did I Mention Eating Lots of Watermelon?!)

Sweet Summertime Quotes!
“Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair...”
“Ô, Sunlight! The most precious gold to be found on Earth.”
“Spring passes and one remembers one's innocence.
Summer passes and one remembers one's exuberance.
Autumn passes and one remembers one's reverence.
Winter passes and one remembers one's perseverance.”

What are your best summer memories? What did you once do each summer that is now simply a memory? What summer traditions do you still celebrate? Share the love! :)

Why I Wear What I Wear?
Why I Wear What I Wear?

The owner of the Bhakti Shoppe tells her story...

Born in Southern California by the beach, living a simple life - always out searching for the next adventure. Creating, painting, exploring, playing and writing music. Spending many days with friends, while being influenced by their likes and dislikes. As this affected who I was - it also affected the way I dressed. To try and fit in with modern society - the "scene". The clothing I would choose to wear wasn't always comfortable or modest. Days I would find myself alone, I would reflect. Who am I? What am I doing?
