☾ New Moon Rising ☽

by Rebecca Pagakis June 04, 2016

Today begins the first new moon of June, where the days are long and the nights are warm with a kiss of a sweet breeze.

On the day of new moon, the moon rises when the sun rises. It sets when the sun sets. It crosses the sky with the sun during the day.

Falling in the sign of Gemini, the ruler of self-expression and the throat chakra, this New Moon is also going to inspire us to express our truth and communicate how we are really feeling.

The energy of a New Moon is significantly as powerful as a Full Moon.

The New Moon represents the clearing of a cycle in what we've gone through these past couple of weeks... To let go of any energies holding us back or pushing us too much, to start fresh and new with the acceptance of growth and change. It is how we guide our daily lives with the intentions set that create a unique experiences throughout the month.

May we open our hearts to expressing who we really are in spirit and soul. May this be creating: Music, Art, Dance, Writing, and Expressing through our emotional power by tuning into our child-like spirit of pure innocent love. ♡

Spending many days with friends, while being influenced by their likes and dislikes. As this affected who I was - it also affected the way I dressed. To try and fit in with modern society - the "scene". The clothing I would choose to wear wasn't always comfortable or modest. Days I would find myself alone, I would reflect. Who am I? What am I doing?
